Get a complete pre-election snapshot with the New Voting Setup Report
We’ve introduced a New ‘Setup Report’ PDF, a pre-election snapshot that captures all the critical details of your ballot before the vote begins. As a document-first platform for organization elections, this new report makes record-keeping and voting compliance easy. Customers in states with strict regulations, such as Florida, will find this document immediately valuable for supporting their compliance needs. When combining the Setup Report with the Ballot Summary Report, organizations obtain a complete, auditable record of their election from setup through final results.
This report includes:
- Ballot name
- Community or organization
- Vote period
- Settings (secret, quorum, voter base)
- Ballot sample image
Find any ballot instantly with real-time sorting and search
In the Ballot listing page, you can now quickly locate the ballot you’re looking for with our real-time sort and search functionality. Ballots can be sorted by Name, Start Date, End Date, Last Modified, Created Date, or Closed Date.
Remove incorrect votes without breaking your audit trail
We’ve added a New ‘Remove Vote’ button to the Participation tab for votes that are not secret ballots. Managers or election admins can now remove an incorrect or duplicate vote submission without the extra steps of unsealing the ballot first.
Get a clear, more defensible audit history and improve voting compliance
Ballot Bliss’s automatic audit logs are a powerful feature that many organizations are already finding helpful, and in this release, we’ve made them even better. Now, every time a ballot is archived or its status is updated, a detailed history of the action is automatically saved in the audit log. This history shows who made the change and what the ballot’s status was before and after the update.
This new update gives you a clear, easily verifiable history for every ballot and improves voting compliance. It ensures your election records are even more secure and provides detailed documentation needed for organizations, such as HOAs and condos, that require strict compliance. These new changes mean that Ballot Bliss is even better at keeping your election records secure. As an election admin, manager, or board, you get full transparency and peace of mind knowing you have an unquestionable record of every action taken.
Enhancements:
Streamline every step of your ballot
- Prevent editing original ballots when duplicating them – When you duplicate a ballot, the copy is now automatically labeled with “Copy of”. This small change helps prevent managers from accidentally editing the original ballot instead of the copied ballot they intended to work on.
- More intuitive ballot creation experience – When creating multi-choice or single-choice questions, the options are now clearly labeled as “Option 1, Option 2”, and so on, instead of “Answers,” which was less clear.
- To improve clarity and accommodate different voting scenarios, we renamed “Ballot Invites” to “Voting Invites” across the Ballot Page, Message Center, Navigation Menu, and Occupant Detail pages.
Earn voter trust through clear communication
- Clearer SMS consent language – The language we use to ask users for permission to send ballot invites via text is now simpler and clearer.
- Simple consent terms – We’ve rewritten the terms voters agree to when casting their vote to be much simpler and easier to understand, while providing the same legal protection.
- Easier-to-read invite codes – The unique code in the ballot invite email is now displayed in a clear, easy-to-read font (Verdana).
Give every voter a smooth experience
- Clearer images on the ballot – The images on the ballot look better and are easier to view, which makes the voting process smoother for members.
- Ballot Voting Links – All voting links now use the Ballot Bliss brand for SMS and paper where the link shortener is used.
Get more from your election reports
- See the same thing as your voters – The Ballot Summary Report now includes a visual sample of the ballot, so you can see exactly what your voters saw when casting their votes. This new addition to the report improves your post-election reporting process.
- Find exported files more easily – All ballot export filenames now follow a standardized format: CommunityName_BallotName_ReportType_DateTime. This makes it a lot simpler to sort and find the specific report you need after you’ve downloaded it.
- Improved clarity in the Bad Communication Report – We’ve removed a few irrelevant fields to make communications reporting clearer.
